Tutor Terms

Tutors using Ahavidya are independent tutors and are not employees of WORKENGINETECH PRIVATE LIMITED merely because they use the platform. Tutors are responsible for their own teaching services, professional conduct and applicable legal obligations.

Anyone may register as a tutor. Tutors must provide truthful information about their identity, qualifications, subjects, experience and other profile details. Ahavidya does not currently operate a formal tutor qualification verification or background-verification process.

A tutor may decide whether to accept a student or class request. Tutors should make acceptance decisions fairly and communicate relevant scheduling or availability information accurately.

Tutors must provide classes professionally and keep communication with students within Ahavidya's platform. Tutors must not solicit off-platform payments or attempt to bypass Ahavidya's booking system.

Tutors must maintain appropriate professional boundaries, particularly when teaching minors. Sexual, exploitative, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate conduct is prohibited.

Ahavidya currently deducts a 15% platform/service fee from the applicable transaction. The fee may change with appropriate notice. Eligible tutor payouts are processed weekly, subject to completed sessions, refunds, cancellations, disputes, payment settlement and applicable adjustments.

Tutors should honor accepted bookings. A tutor cancellation or tutor no-show may result in a full refund to the student and may affect the tutor's applicable payout.

Tutors retain rights they own in original teaching materials, subject to any rights granted to Ahavidya that are necessary to display profile information and operate the service. Tutors must not upload or use material they do not have permission to use.

Ahavidya may suspend or terminate a tutor account for inaccurate information, unsafe conduct, misuse of the platform, payment circumvention, repeated cancellations, complaints, fraud, security concerns or other violations of applicable terms.
