Ahavidya

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Ahavidya, operated by WORKENGINETECH PRIVATE LIMITED, handles information when you use the Ahavidya platform.

Last updated: 21 September 2026

1. Who we are

Ahavidya is an online learning platform operated by WORKENGINETECH PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U62011AP2026PTC128279). Ahavidya connects students with independent tutors for one-to-one online learning.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect account and contact information, tutor profile information, student and parent/guardian information, booking and payment information, communications sent through the platform, and technical information such as device, browser, IP address, logs and security events.

Tutor profiles may include names, profile photos, subjects, education, certifications, teaching experience, languages, biography, availability and other information supplied by the tutor.

3. How we use information

  • Create and manage accounts.
  • Help students discover and book tutors.
  • Process bookings and payments.
  • Provide customer support and platform communications.
  • Maintain security, prevent misuse and troubleshoot the service.
  • Improve the platform and understand service usage.
  • Meet applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Tutor and student information

Information supplied for tutor profiles may be displayed to users as part of tutor discovery. Students and parents/guardians should provide only information that is appropriate and necessary for using the service. Communication between students, parents/guardians and tutors should remain on the Ahavidya platform.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through Razorpay. Payments made through Ahavidya are received by WORKENGINETECH PRIVATE LIMITED. Payment information may therefore be processed by Razorpay and other payment providers involved in completing the transaction. Ahavidya does not need to store your full card or banking credentials to provide the payment service.

6. Google sign-in and service providers

If you use Google sign-in, Ahavidya may receive the account information made available through that authentication flow, such as your name and email address. We may also use hosting, infrastructure, communications, analytics, security and payment service providers to operate Ahavidya.

7. Communications and marketing

Ahavidya may send account, booking, security, support and other service communications. Where marketing communications are sent, users may opt out through the available unsubscribe or preference mechanism. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential service or security communications.

8. Children and parent/guardian information

Ahavidya may be used by students under 18. Parent/guardian contact details are required before a student account is used to make payments. Parents/guardians may manage the student's account through the applicable account access. We encourage parents/guardians to supervise online learning and communication involving minors.

9. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

10. Your requests

You may contact us to request access, correction or other privacy-related assistance, subject to applicable law and legitimate operational requirements. Accounts cannot currently be self-deleted through the website; account or data deletion requests can be sent to admin@ahavidya.com.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Ahavidya's services, technology or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
