Terms of Use

Ahavidya is operated by WORKENGINETECH PRIVATE LIMITED. The platform helps students discover and book independent tutors for online one-to-one learning. Ahavidya does not itself conduct tutoring classes.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. Students using the service who are under 18 must provide the required parent/guardian details before making payments.

Tutors are independent service providers. Tutors are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, qualifications and experience. A tutor may decide whether to accept a student or class request.

Classes on Ahavidya are online. Bookings and applicable payments are made through the platform using supported payment methods. Razorpay processes payments, and payments received through Ahavidya are received by WORKENGINETECH PRIVATE LIMITED. The current Ahavidya platform/service fee is 15% of the applicable transaction and may be revised with appropriate notice.

Eligible tutor amounts are paid on a weekly basis, subject to successful completion of applicable classes, refunds, cancellations, disputes, payment settlement and other applicable adjustments.

• Do not provide false, misleading or fraudulent information.
• Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against or exploit another user.
• Do not use Ahavidya for unlawful, abusive, sexual or inappropriate communication.
• Do not attempt to bypass Ahavidya's booking or payment process.
• Do not misuse another person's account or personal information.
• Do not upload content that infringes another person's rights.

Student/tutor communication relating to Ahavidya classes should take place through the Ahavidya platform. Users must not use the platform to solicit off-platform payments or circumvent Ahavidya's booking process.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by Ahavidya's Refund & Cancellation Policy. Tutor cancellations or tutor no-shows may qualify the student for a full refund. Student no-shows are not refundable under the stated policy.

Ahavidya's website, software, branding, design and platform materials belong to Ahavidya or its licensors. Users retain rights they already own in content they submit, while granting Ahavidya the limited rights necessary to operate, display and provide the service.

Ahavidya provides a marketplace and technology platform. We do not guarantee examination results, grades, admission outcomes, employment outcomes or any particular learning result from a tutor or class.

Ahavidya may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, enforce these terms, address payment or security issues, or comply with law.

We may update these terms as the service develops. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts having jurisdiction in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
